Thanks to all bro/sis sharing this interesting topic on LP Pinut. In recent year, LP Pinut's amulet are hot in Thai amulet collector era, many collector collected it base on the fact either from rumours, speculation, investment, respect & etc.

I'm consider myself as a newbie in amulet's collection but I don't collect amulet base on rumours & speculation. Here, I just share some of my study and opinion. If I'm wrong, please forgive me and don't shoot me ya.

you read first and decide. *

1) LP Pinut is a poor monk, those temple LP Pinut stayed also a poor temple. In the initial stage when LP Pinut start made amulets, I don't expect he had the fancy moulding equipment or huge financial support to produce the quality just as factory do.

So, I expect the shape may abit urgly & not so attractive, Most of the shape may looks abit different or out of shape because too many touching by hand and not the tools. I also don't expect sharp angle lining among the star or the perfect side line surrounding the amulet.

If mixture of corpse ashes or powder with herbs, I don't expect too high the surface will smooth as silk or perfect flat surface.

2) I don't think LP Pinut is rich enough to buy or get gem stone for free in initial stage, If he manage to get, I believe he will used his logic thinking to spend it either for the temple building or social welfare.

Even a real diamond, will the committee member in the temple allow him to do so? if he really do it, somebody for sure will dig out later and sell it for better value. Believe me, once talk about money, no one should trust.

Maybe in the later stage, his amulet getting welcome from people surrounding him, somebody love him some much and willing to donate a bag of gem stone and LP Pinut has the chance for making the amulet more attractive especially for those folks in the village surrounding the temple.

I don't believe someone who don't know who is LP Pinut and willing or accidentally to give the gemstone to him.

If those gem stone is so high price what will those amulet distributor or greedy people going to do? If my piece got real diamond on it, I will certainly dig out for sale and ask for forgiveness later. Will you do it also? imagine the whole villagers who is looking to it almost everyday.

3) Main material been used were from corpse & herbs. There is a huge argument among Thai amulet's collector, Is LP Pinut really put in real skin, corpse oil, human flesh to made amulet?

my study show me that not the fresh skin or tender flesh as you see in wet market.

Imagine you hang a dead meat, after couple days, you will get bad smell and worm running all over the meat. Even seal in the casing, for years what will it looks alike? dried with sinked surface or the shape should be completely can't recognized

4) How he process the corpse for been used in amulet? I believe he used similar style as LP Tim Wat Lahanrai - dry it, burn it & made it into powder format. In powder format, he can used the material whenever he need.

There is no rumours somebody fainted because bloodly skin & flesh used during making of amulets.

If it is powder or ashes, what happen when mixed with liquid or oil? either is grey or black in color.

5) Here come the huge argument, many amulet collector enemy each other just for this matter. Is LP Pinut's amulet a mainstream or barang? No doubt LP Pinut is expert in processing corpse, he used corpse parts to produce amulet because that's the thing he facing everyday, as a poor monk, that's the main source in front of him.

Everybody have different opinion in this question, myself justify base on the motif from LP Pinut's mind. He don't produce it base on an evil idea. Even he used dried bones to made amulet, takrut, palakid or mitmor.

There is no rumours about LP Pinut purposely made the amulet to help certain people to con lady or gain super power in sex life or just made an amulet purposely for gambling.

Same idea as LP Tim Wat Lahanrai, he used a specified corpse to produce Plai Kuman powder and used it to help good purpose. If I accepted LP Tim's amulets as mainstream so LP Pinut will also a mainstream to me.

6) Why LP Pinut's amulet getting famous and many people start crazy for it? Initial stage only those folks in the village knew about it, many villagers wear it and feel that they are getting more lucky then ever.

So the rumours start spreading around, maybe not all people wear it will feel lucky and I believe only some small amount of people gain the luck.

Why I said this? because I believe luck is not come for free, you need to pay for it. You need to do a lots of good deed to gain your merit and LP Pinut's amulet is just a booster to boost up your opportunity.

As an amulet collector, learning curve is a must and doing home work, study the history behind is a key to know.

A manufacturer may fake very closely to the genuine but something they can't fake is the history & amulet aging. Just like playing Sudoku game, slowly you will reveal the truth behind it.
